  6. B&B Mail is a full-featured record keeping system for the business needs 
  7. of sales personnel, retail establishments, manufacturers, offices, 
  8. utilities, and any business requiring the production of labels and related
  9. reports.  B&B MAIL will assist you in look-up and maintenance of customer 
  10. records in your marketing and communication efforts.

  13. o Flexi-Sort (Sort on any field(s)),

  54. INSTALLATION STEPS

  56. If you haven't made a BACKUP copy recently, do it now.
  57.

  59. 1) Make a "MAIL" directory:At C:\, enter MD MAIL, then CD\MAIL
  60.  
  61. 2) Enter COPY A:*.*
  62.  
  63. 3) Enter BBMAIL?? (substitute version number for ??) to extract files if
  64.    it is an .EXE file, or PKUNZIP BBMAIL?? if a .ZIP file.

  66. 4) New Data Base Files will have a name "UPGR?" and will not overwrite 
  67.    existing .dbf files.

  69. 5) Use your editor and make sure your CONFIG.SYS file has these two lines:
  70.    FILES=40   (minimum)
  71.    BUFFERS=10 (minimum, try 15 or 20 for speed improvement)

  73. 6) Turn you computer off, then on (for config.sys to take effect).
  74.  
  75. 7) Enter MAIL to answer set-up questions, and get to main menu
  76.  
  77. 8) If you have Expanded Memory and have errors, enter 
  78.    SET QSEMS=0 at DOS (keeps 64k of EMS from being used).
